Ladies' Classic 1950s Wardrobe Pattern
I've pulled together my favorite design elements from this decade--the full skirt and the demurely tailored pencil skirt; the fitted bodice and tailored sleeves; the curvy collar and the wide pointed collar; the detachable peplum and the removable dickie. You can mix and match to your heart's content and create an entire closet full of flattering outfits that take you from relaxing on the patio in cool gingham to stepping out in sophisticated glamour with all the stops pulled out. Thanks to the inspiration of customer Denise B., I've also added a brand new set of instructions for a breathtaking petticoat a lá Alice Lon!

Oops! Omission on Romantic Blouse Pattern
Next time this pattern is printed, the lines will be in place, but this should help the rest of you. I never cease to be amazed at what can go unremarked and unseen for such a long stretch of years. This is why I LOVE customer feedback.
Thilda's Swing-Style Blouses
I was always looking for a blouse for my 40's dresses and I was so happy to found your pattern for the "Swing Style Blouse". I had never expected to have so much fun while I was sewing the first one. The pattern is so well explained that I finished it in only 6 hours! I was so happy that I started with the 2nd one. For both blouses I used fine cotton and pearl buttons. Now my 40's dresses are complete. Thank you for your fantastic patterns.
Retro-1940s "Swing" Style Blouse
My Romantic Blouse Pattern also works for the "Swing" Era (1940s-1950s) with its cuffed short-sleeve option!

Romantic Blouse Pattern
My Romantic Blouse pattern is meant to go with the jumper you can make from the Romantic Era Dress pattern, but it is also versatile enough to use for other eras, including the 1940s and 1950s!

Veronica's Empire Tunic
I wanted an elegant tunic to go over my full skirt, so adapted my Regency pattern with elbow length sleeves into a tunic. I added a band under the bodice, and instead of a gathered back skirt panel I made it fit right onto the band. I’ve received heaps of compliments about my new outfit.
1909 “Beatrix” Shirtwaist Pattern
I created this shirtwaist pattern to go with my “Beatrix” Skirt and Jacket. Now you’ll be able to create a complete outfit–even a jaunty riding habit!–from this trio of patterns, all inspired by 1909 originals.

1954 Blouse Pattern
A 1954 pattern for blouses. Note the interesting angled sleeve/armscye details. The "Atomic" age brought with it a vogue for more defined shapes. You see it in the furniture and home design as well.
Mid-1940s Pattern for Four Blouses
This is a mid-1940s pattern for four blouses, suitable for day wear. The gathered area under the dropped shoulder yoke is common, and you'll see it again and again in my 1940s images.
1945 Ladies' Blouse Pattern
1945 ladies' blouse pattern with those classic wide shoulders and gathers below the yoke. Note the hairstyles on the models. You'll see a lot of these dropped shoulder yokes and gathered bodice fronts in this time period--a feature on my 1940s "Swing" Dress Pattern.
1940s Older Teen's Blouse & Skirt Pattern
A 1940s older teen's blouse and skirt pattern. This is a wonderful look. It reminds me a lot of Shirley Temple's clothing from her teen films.
1904 Fashion Circular - Ladies' Blouses
Illustration of blouses from a 1904 fashion circular. Scrumptious! This is the decade of tucks-a-plenty and lace in profusion, including on the underthings.
1915 Woman's Waist Pattern
Woman's waist pattern, circa 1915. Note the long, draped collar and belted waist. Both were popular from about 1914-1918.
