Jessica's Sleeveless Spencer with Peplum (how-to included!)
Jessica made this beautiful sleeveless Spencer and added the peplum with covered buttons. It's so perfect I asked if she'd share her how-to for this modification, and she did. If you have questions for her about how to make one for yourself, you can drop her a line (her email is at the end of this post).
Cecilia's "Spencerino"
Dear Jennie, On this pictures I do wear again my ELC gown, but this time with a little addition: “Spencerino” (Italian for little spencer) as my friend called it. I based this jacket on your ELC pattern. This alteration is very easy and I made a little tutorial about it, please feel free to use
Regency Spencer Jacket/Pelisse Pattern
I created this pattern by pulling research together from several sources (along with customer requests!). I studied a Spencer jacket in the D.A.R. Museum collection and one at the Valentine. I also drew from Janet Arnold’s wonderful Patterns of Fashion to create a versatile pattern for short jackets, long coats, and sleeveless pelisses or short gowns.

Girls' Regency Spencer/Pelisse Pattern
The Girls' Regency Spencer & Pelisse pattern is a companion to the ladies' Spencer & Pelisse pattern and will make adorable jackets, long coats, and sleeveless pelisses to go over dresses.

1909 “Beatrix” Jacket Pattern
This tailored "Beatrix" jacket pattern was inspired by the styles of the late Edwardian era — and by Beatrix Potter, who wore sturdy walking skirts and fitted jackets while working and sketching around her farm in England.

Edwardian Walking Jacket Pattern
Drafted from an original circa 1908 jacket, this is my Edwardian Walking Jacket pattern. It pairs beautifully with the Beatrix Skirt pattern and can be dressed up or down for any occasion.

1940s Tailored Jacket Pattern
This is a 1940s tailored jacket pattern from Simplicity with top stitching and lots of pocket options. I admire the clean lines and feminine fit.
1940s Tailored Blazer with Pleated Skirt Pattern
This is a Simplicity pattern for a tailored blazer with pleated skirt. It looks very collegiate. I especially like the short-sleeved version of this 1940s suit, shown in the center.
1930s Tucked Bodice Dress
A slim afternoon dress with tucked bodice and stitched-down pleats. The loose jacket looks very much like 1930s maternity fashion, which was styled to cover the "bump" in the later stages of pregnancy.
Ca. 1904 Bed Jacket Pattern
This is a ca. 1904 bed jacket pattern for young ladies. This is what a lady would pull on in the morning while she was doing her hair or eating breakfast (if she didn't wear a breakfast gown). It also kept clothes neat while she styled her hair.
