I made this gown last week from the Elegant Lady’s Closet Pattern. It was fun to make and felt elegant and comfortable to wear.

Now one of my younger sisters wants me to make her a Girl’s Regency dress or Girl’s Georgian Era Dress. Thanks for designing these lovely patterns!

Thank you for sharing your fantastic work, Jenna! This is absolutely wonderful. I really like the cotton print you found. And what a lovely day for photographs!

Your friend and sister in Christ,

  3. I think your dress really complements the sweet spirit of the girl who pieced it together.
I totally enjoy watching your talents bloom.

  4. Oh, it’s lovely! 🙂 I wish I could sew. . .This site is making me want to learn very much! Wonderfully done, can’t wait to see more of your beautiful creations! 🙂

    • Hi Philine,
I am not wearing any stays or a petticoat under my gown. It seemed to work okay without them, but would have been fuller with the petticoat, I think.

  5. It definately is beautiful! You certainly are talented. A job well done Jenna! I look forward to seeing many more of your creations to come.
