Alecia's 1940s Swing Dress

Hi Jennie!I attended a WWII hangar dance last night and I searched and searched in thrift stores, vintage shops, and antique stores looking for a dress to wear and didn't have any luck finding one that I liked and that fit me. Then I found your pattern (1940s Swing Dress) and it was the exact dress I was hoping to find in all the shops I had visited! I found my perfect fabric and it turned out great! Just wanted to share!Alecia

How lovely, Alecia! You look wonderful, and I bet you had a blast! Love the plane in the background, too. My dad taught me to fly in an open-cockpit PT-23 similar to that. Too bad I never mastered landing. ;-)
