Improved ePatterns are HERE!
It has been a LONG time coming, but I’ve finally revamped all my ePatterns as gridded sheets with tile numbers and match-up lines. This became a necessity when Adobe began to phase out its Poster Print feature across many software platforms. My ePattern ZIP files now contain both full-sized sheets (in case you prefer to use a local large-format printer) and the pre-tiled sheets as seen below. You can also project the gridded sheets onto a wall to trace individual pieces if you prefer (there’s a test square on each to make sure you’ve scaled correctly).
If you have already purchased my ePatterns in the past and would like the updated versions, please feel free to drop me a line through my contact form. I’ll need your order number(s) or the email used to place your order(s) so I can locate you in the database and send all your updated sheets. I anticipate I will receive a lot of requests for updates, so please be patient if I do not answer you immediately. I will do my best to get through all requests in a timely manner.
I’ve also updated the ePattern Instructions, since the new tiles are far easier to put together (and work on both Letter and A4 formats without any extra work on the user’s end). I’ll upload a new tutorial to the blog as soon as possible to demonstrate the tiling process.
Thank you so much for your patience during this process. Some of you know this has been in the works for quite a while, and you’ve been so kind and accommodating. I also couldn’t have gotten these done without the help of a dear friend who is a fellow pattern designer and Adobe Illustrator ace, so many thanks to her for her time and expertise. She’s too modest to let me shout her out, but she knows I think she is a gem!
