November Catch-Up (2020…yeah)
Hello!
I realize I have basically been AWOL since June this year. If you followed me on Instagram, then you know my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and has been undergoing treatment after extensive testing and weighing of options. She is a fighter, and she has been in great spirits—and I’ve been neck-deep in cancer research and helping Mom come up with a diet plan (I’m so proud of her for losing nearly 30 pounds!).
Our family also found a lovely 1902 house with much-needed extra space for all of our growing children, and, as is common with old houses, we have been kept busy with repair work, painting, redoing floors, and more. It has been a great adventure, and we are super happy to be here.
2020 has been a huge challenge for all of us, I realize, so I really appreciate everyone who has reached out with kind notes, thoughts, and prayers. You can’t even imagine how much it has meant to us. Mom wanted me to be sure to pass along her thanks for all the prayers and says she has certainly felt them!
