1780s First Communion Dress

Thank you so much for your help! I'm working on our practice dress before I make the real [first communion dress]. This is out of a table cloth my son decided to use scissors on. :) I'm making a size 6. My daughter is 8, but very tiny around the chest.We are so happy with how the dress turned out! This is absolutely beautiful, K.G.! Your daughter looks so thrilled to have her special dress, too. You did exactly right to use the smaller size for your daughter's bodice. I always remind folks to go by measurements rather than size or age. My daughters are all mix-and-match sizes, so I often use a smaller bodice with the length the next size up. Nothing wrong with that!
