I was to attend a wedding with Regency period as a theme. It was wonderful with dances and all and finally I took the time to make a dress and a jacket for the period. This will come in handy as I also attend roleplaying games from time to time and Regency dance. There is no alterrations to the dress or jacket besides A LOT of fitting. But I'm used to that, as I have cup size G. The hat was a normal one I had in advance, just decked with the blonde used on the dress. Parts of it sewed in to flowers with a pearl in the middle.I found the pattern was a little confusing, as you can see on the back, I had problems with the "opening" in the skirt, I could not find out how to keep it from gaping. In the end one the bridesmades gave it two stitches:) For more pictures of the party take a look here: http://www.klnielsen.dk/photo-galleries The page is in Danish, but the pictures are not, so just click the links:)BTW the dress will come to its right in the window of a sewing shop, until I need it again. I'm very proud. And very glad I took the time to find just the right pattern. ~ Susanne M.

Marvelous work, Susanne! What a special bridal day with all the lovely costumes, and I especially love your Spencer jacket. Fantastic!
