My wonderful helper in the States finally managed to sort through the latest batch of Kangas from Kenya and post them for sale on
! I really scoured the markets high and low to find the prettiest Kangas with the nicest "Jina" (sayings) on them, and I think you're going to love what we've got!
Included with every purchase is a free copy of my
, which contains instructions for both the wrap skirt you see at right and the A-line skirt below:
A-line Skirt
All fabrics come as double panels, each one 45" wide and approximately 3.25 yards in length (meaning individual panels are 1 1/8 yard). They are joined in the center (which is perfect for the wrap skirt pattern) but can be creatively cut to make all kinds of wonderful summer dresses, skirts, blouses and home dec projects.
