Vi's Regency Dress

Vi from a church in Hawaii made this dress (no front view--sorry!). Comments from Roxanne, who coordinated the costumes:

These dresses will be used for a church play commemorating its 180th anniversary. The play is on the life of Lucy Goodale Thurston (played by yours truly), a pioneer missionary to Hawaii. The first Christian missionaries set sail from New England for Hawaii Oct. 23, 1819, and it took them almost 6 months to get here. They landed April 4, 1820. To modify your pattern, our seamstress combined the two sleeves [short and undersleeve] and added a band under the bodice with a bow at the back. Thank you very much!
