Titanic Tea Gowns

Above is Jennifer Rouch's version of the tea gown. Writes Jennifer, "My tea dress was a less accurate version as far as budget was concerned. Instead of using guipure lace I used a wide antique looking less expensive lace. The green matte satin was a dead on match of the movie dress, and I used irridescent orange taffeta edged with black velvet ribbon for the sash, and a hand painted flower for the center. The remainder of the dress (bodice, sleeves etc) was a combination of english net and re-embroidered bridal lace. It has an invisible zipper back. I was pleased at how inexpensively a pretty close version could be obtained." I'd say so! It's lovely!

Christine created this luscious tea gown for a customer who didn't want all the layers of lace. This simplified version is most elegant!.

Tracie Arnold of Past & Present has done it again! This reproduction of Rose's tea dress is simply stunning. The lace! WOW! Absolutely fabulous.
