Lady Scott's Regency Ballgown

hinklefamily.jpg

Here is Lady Scott in her beautiful ballgown, created for Dolley Madison's Ball held in Scottsdale, Arizona. Isn't her fabric luscious? And the silvery trim is dreamy. She writes,

We really are pleased with the dress and hope the pics might inspire a few more ladies to try your pattern. We used 100% silk charmeuse in a bright white. The shine and drape of the fabric worked very well with your design.

At far right is a shot of the family, dressed for the ball. Don't they look fantastic? You can get information on the costume balls held in Arizona at We Make History. Lord Scott heads up the group, which puts on several historical balls each year, including Georgian, Regency and Civil War!
