Cecilia's "Spencerino"

IMG_0740.jpg

Dear Jennie,On this pictures I do wear again my ELC gown, but this time with a little addition: "Spencerino" (Italian for little spencer) as my friend called it. I based this jacket on your ELC pattern. This alteration is very easy and I made a little tutorial about it, please feel free to use it for your homepage if you like: http://mmedujard.blogspot.com/2012/01/spencerino-tutorial.html I think it adds a little interest to my simple dress. I made it from some scraps of patchworkfabric which worked great, as it only consists of the bodice, it is a nice way to use rests.Again I can only repeat that I love your patterns! This will surely not be the last garment I made with your patterns.Warm regards from cold Black Forest,Cecilia

This is so cleverly done, Cecilia! I love it! Thanks so much for sharing your tutorial, too!
