I took out about 4 inches from center of the sleeve pattern. The fabric is fairly stiff so it would have been too much 'poof.' I love how it has that natural train in the back. I also really loved making this dress because I did not have to alter the length at all! She was the perfect height for it! For clarification, this dress is a sheer that does not have a front or back fastening (it takes some work to get on). She is wearing a petticoat underneath. I used the pattern to the 'T' except for the sleeves. ~ Bethany
