I made this dress from the 1909 Edwardian Dress Pattern. I had to modify the shoulder to add more length to it. I also wanted to be able to just slip it on so I cut the back piece 3″ in from the fold and added three rows of cased elastic. I love the gathered back.
Two of my daughters have Regency Gowns made with the same material.

I have two of these dresses. I love them. You look a lot like me, but of course you are prettier.
I love what you did with the back. I may try that.
