The photographs above show models wearing two different dresses made from this pattern. As you can see, the bodice is poufed (gathered) in the front, and the skirt gathers all the way around. The optional waistline sash can be made from cotton, velvet, silk, or wide ribbon. This pattern is rated “intermediate” because of the heirloom techniques included (French seams; lace insertion). However, making a simple day dress is not beyond the skill of a beginner!
