Hi! I wanted to quickly post to see if anyone had any info on a 1890's dress pattern I have. Before our littles came along, my husband and I used to do day road trips scouring yard sales. On one of these trips, I picked up an old dress pattern in good condition…The New Complete Tailor System of Dress Cutting, B.S Elmes, just like this one which was sold on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1896-THE-NEW-COMPLETE-TAILOR-SYSTEM-OF-DRESS-CUTTING-BY-B-S-ELMES-BOSTON-/180800501574?nma=true&si=D1CzEUdYOaBNR4lBXH53lXEgxL8%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
It's complete as best as I can tell, even have 3 or 4 of the dressmakers thumb pins advertised in the catalogue as well as a couple pattern pieces from 2 different sets (The Rood Magic Scale COmpany and W.R.Williams Perfection Tailor System). It's obviously really cool but just wondering if it has any monetary value. Haven't had much luck finding info.
