So nice to be back.  I loved my time (and wonderful friends) on the old forum, but once I felt moved to complete an education in midwifery, all my sewing (and time for anything other than family church and school) went on the back burner.  After a 5 year hiatus while working on my CPM master's degree, the light is at the end of the tunnel (just a thesis and some clinical work left) and I can finally return to sewing!  My daughters are SOO happy and we actually sat and planned Easter dresses this afternoon.  In the absent five years, we've added another girl and boy to the mix so I'm now a mom of 5 rambunctious boys and 2 wonderful girls.  Can't wait to reconnect with online friends and sewing pals!

Thanks, everyone!  It's nice to "see" familiar faces.  We're planning 1780's Portrait dresses for the girls and I'm just waiting for the fabric to get here. 

Janel, I'm choosing not to feel so bad that my post count is now a great, big "2" since you've been here since last fall and have a whole 12 posts listed. grin Can't wait to see that number go up as I meet the new faces, too.
