Hi everyone,

My name is Wendy and I was sunlady on the old board and now the new board.

I’ve been very blessed to have gone on the last three (!) S&S Tours to England and have met so many wonderful ladies there. It’s a great experience.

I have an understanding husband who is now getting into costuming with me. I also have three children (daughter and two sons) who keep me busy and curious.

My first costuming love is regency. I also love vintage 1930s-1950s style clothing, and I’m discovering Steampunk.

It’s nice to be on the board again!

Wendy

Wow! Three times!?! I would really love to visit England for just a general visit sometime, but it would be amazing if I could include a S&S tour in it! I don’t think I’ll be going for a for a long time if I ever do though.wink

Nice to meet you.

You should so put it on your to do list. (I live in UK) and went to Bath Jane Austen Festival for the first time this year. It was brilliant (if a little expensive).

3 times!  That is awesome!  My daughter, Sarah, went on the 2009 trip.

Hello, Wendy and others.  I’m Trish, moving over from the old forum and not sure if I needed to re register or not.  I’m a costume designer for youth theatre and lucky enough to have taken the S & S tour twice.  I appreciate the information and interesting people found here.  Cheers.

Hello again. That is nice that you could attend so many of the S and S tours. How fun.

I so wanted to go to Bath for the festival in 2012 but we couldn’t get it planned in time! It is still on my list, though.
