Hi, I'm Sarah. I joined the old forum not too long ago as Aelfswythe.

I grew up in Indiana, but now live in Maryland. I've sewn historical clothing since I started Civil War reenacting as a 15 year old. I did that for 9 years, but then I went to school, got married, and had kids. So, I'm finally getting back to sewing historical clothing – only my interests have shifted somewhat. I am now starting to create some early 1800s clothing and I'd eventually like to make some late 1700s as well. Very exciting stuff! 

I'd really like to get an historical clothing sewing group together since I think sewing together can be fun, but it's so hard to find anyone in north-central Maryland. Anyone out there?
