I'm putting a thread here to try to help people with photo issues.  I am going to explain how I add photos, and then I'll have Carol explain how she does it.  Maybe I can get a couple of others to add input also.

I have my own website, so I upload the photos onto that site, and then directly link the photos into my post.

So to do that, I click on the little photo icon above - 6th from the right - looks like a box with mountains and a sun in it.

In the box that says "source" I put the location of the photo on my website:  ** you don't have permission to see this link **

I left the other boxes blank, and clicked OK.

Using the Chrome browser, and not my own web site, this is how I do it:

I am not able to successfully load pictures from my computer any more.  With the old format, I could.  I now resort to using Photobuckets to upload pictures here, which is a bit of a pain, so I don't share pictures much any more. ;)  Which some might find a good thing. :) :) :)

From Photobucket, I choose a link and I use the "direct link" which is the second option.  I copy that link to use here.  I have tried using the "IMG" link and it won't work for me, whereas on the old board, you could use that link. I can ONLY use the "Direct" link, no other link option works.

Once I do that, I use the same icon Geneece mentions above, the photo icon, 6 from the right.

I take my copied link and put it in the box given...you can put in proportion dimensions, OR use the "constrain proportions" which is already checked off, which is what I do....

But look how huge these pictures are???!!!  I thought the board was set up so it would make the pictures smaller, so that it used less 'space'.  Editing****  OK, when the pictures first load into the post, before hitting the "preview of my post" the pictures are huge.  After I look at the preview of my post, the pictures are much smaller. :)  So, when I click publish, I am going to assume the pictures are smaller, but you can click on them to make them bigger.....

I would love to hear how Vesna loads her pictures. :)

This looks very clear.  I am one of those who need step by step instructions and I know there are more of us out there! I have also been using photobucket, after many failures.

Love your pics. They are growing apace!
