I’ve just posted the itinerary and booking information for this year’s tour, which is going to be a fantastic one as we celebrate the 200th anniversary of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, taking in the Jane Austen Festival in Bath, visiting Jane’s grave in Winchester, her home in Chawton and more before heading to London for four nights and days of historical costume study, palaces, and fabric shopping! For all the details, please see ** you don’t have permission to see this link **
Please note that I’m holding slots open for newcomers for a week to give those who have never been a chance to sign up first. After that, any remaining slots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis from the waiting list. Please drop me a line right away if you are interested in going (I’ll know if you’re a first-timer–don’t worry!). I expect this tour to fill quickly, especially as we’re just eight months out from the trip at this point (late 2012 was so insanely busy I didn’t manage to get all the details together earlier). Even if you’re an “alumna” of a prior tour, let me know if you want to go so I can add you to the waiting list, since I’ve already got a bunch of people on the “old-timers” list. Whatever slots don’t fill this first week will be open for alumni, but they’ll go on a first-come, first-served basis, so jump in if you have an inkling to go!
I’m really looking forward to this marvelous trip with all its Jane Austen stops in addition to historical costume collections! Hope you can join us, and have a wonderful weekend!
PS – Lots of scenic train travel on this trip, and it’s going to be an ideal one for sisters, moms and daughters, etc. Very cozy, beautiful accommodations and amazing itinerary stops!
