Veronica's Empire Tunic

I wanted an elegant tunic to go over my full skirt, so adapted my Regency pattern with elbow length sleeves into a tunic. I added a band under the bodice, and instead of a gathered back skirt panel I made it fit right onto the band. I've received heaps of compliments about my new outfit. The skirt is a full circle that I designed myself using four square panels and gores in between. It is attached to a chemise so the weight of the skirt is more even, and I'm wearing short stays over the chemise.Veronica S.

This is a great use for the Regency Gown pattern, Veronica! I've made myself many hip-length tunics to wear with skirts. Love it!
