Sharon's "Caroline" Dress

[gallery link="file" ids="10916,10918,10917"]Customer Sharon E. wanted to make a "Caroline" dress for her daughter for Easter to match her doll from American Girl:

Hi Jennie-Here is Joelle's Easter dress, made using the Regency pattern. I shortened the sleeves and added ruffles at the neck and sleeves. I found the antique ribbon on Etsy and was so pleased with how it looks. The skirt also has two growth pleats in it. Thanks for publishing such wonderful patterns!~ Sharon

Isn't this darling? The ribbon at the waistline is a perfect match, which is an amazing Etsy find! Joelle looks so pleased. Great work, Sharon! Alas, the Caroline doll has been discontinued (and she had SUCH lovely Regency garments!). You can still find her on eBay, though...
