Dear Mrs. Chancey,
I just finished a few gowns from your Romantic Dress Pattern for a customer and wanted to send you a few photos of them. They came out so prettily and I was so pleased with the pattern, I think it is my favorite so far from the ones I have used from S&S! I can’t wait to try out this pattern for myself. I used the front opening option for these dresses, the long sleeves and gathered the skirt (three 45″ panels) to the waistband which was set to accomodate a dog leg closure. The neckline is the jumper neckline and self fabric piping was used at the neck, armscyes and on both sides of the waistband. The pattern was so easy to work with. The 4 dresses took me only about ten days to make altogether which I consider the pattern to be reason for, it was just excellently drafted, written and the pieces fit together so well.
Thanks so much for an excellent pattern! I could never have made these dresses for my customer if I had to draft up a pattern for her on my own. Your pattern has made us both quite happy!
God Bless,
Sarah
These are absolutely fantastic! I love the fabrics, and the fit is beautifully done. Thanks so much for sharing, Sarah!
