I just finished my first Regency Spencer today! I’m quite thrilled with how it came out. The pattern was a dream to put together. :)

WOW! This is one amazing Spencer jacket! Look at all those embroidery details. I love how Lizzie substituted button tabs for the frogs across the front. FUN! Beautiful work!

    Its beautiful! My friends and I have been wondering if it is a hard pattern to make, is it? Also is there any particular fabric you need to use?

      I think the Spencer Jacket is actually easier to make than the dress. :) Appropriate fabrics include silk, linen, cotton-linen blends, velvet, and velveteen. I also like to make jackets of upholstery remnants, since you can often find beautiful medium-weight fabrics in that section of the fabric store. Hope this helps! ~ Jennie
