Mary Alice’s Regency Ballgown

By Jennie Chancey

This one took my breath away when I opened the e-mail. Wow! Writes Mary Alice,

Thank you for the wonderful Regency Gown Pattern. I cut out my fabric on a Tuesday night and was wearing the finished gown on Friday night. I made the gown for a Regency dance at Lunacon. I had no problems putting the gown together and am very happy with the finished garment. I made the gown in a cotton/poly blend cream feather embroidered fabric with a cream cotton lining. I have been recommending the pattern to everyone who admires the gown at Regency balls I have attended. I’m looking forward to making up your Spencer Jacket/Pelisse pattern and 1910s Tea Gown pattern, which I recently ordered.

Thank you,
Mary Alice

Absolutely smashing work!
