Jenna’s Regency Drawstring Gown
By Jennie Chancey
Hi!
I made this dress last week from the Elegant Lady’s Closet Pattern. It was fun to make and felt elegant and comfortable to wear.
Now one of my younger sisters wants me to make her a Girl’s Regency dress or Girl’s Georgian Era Dress (when the pattern comes out!). Thanks for designing these lovely patterns!Jenna
Thank you for sharing your fantastic work, Jenna! This is absolutely wonderful. I really like the cotton print you found. And what a lovely day for photographs!

Great work!

August 2, 2010 at 3:10 pm (1026 days ago)Hi Philine,
I am not wearing any stays or a petticoat under my gown. It seemed to work okay without them, but would have been fuller with the petticoat, I think.
