Early 1950s Dress Pattern

By Jennie Chancey

This is a lovely example of the early 1950s look with the full, hip-emphasizing skirt and pretty horizontal bodice detailing. It’s the dawn of the “New Look.”

So sorry, but this is an original vintage pattern not available for sale. You might try searching eBay to see if you can find another copy. Keep in mind that pattern sizes do not match clothing sizes (particularly vintage pattern sizes), so you’ll want to double-check measurements before purchasing a pattern. I do have a tutorial online that explains how to size a pattern up or down if it does not already match your measurements. See http://sensibility.com/tips/how-to-resize-a-pattern/. Hope this helps!
