Thank you!

By Jennie Chancey

Thank you so much for all the Kanga, dress, and necklace orders! We’ve now finished for this month, but I hope to send a new batch of Kangas home in the summer. I’m working on setting up a fabric section on the site just for that purpose, making purchases that much easier from within sensibility.com.

We really appreciate all the encouraging notes, color suggestions, and feedback on this effort. Forever Grace is off and running, and I look forward to seeing these wonderful ladies continue their sewing education and feel the joy of producing with their own hands. You’ve made that possible, and we thank you.

What a terrific work! I am so glad you are being able to bless these ladies with home businesses, and those models are quite lovely. I can hardly wait for those dress patterns to come out. : )

    Happy sewing!

How about a pattern for plus size ladies muumuu? Have you seen the HBO series No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency? Dresses like Mma Ramotswe wears.

You know, Susanna, they are actually SO easy to make from a double Kanga that I should just draw the how-to and stick it in my blog! I’ll put that on my to-do list. Thanks for the suggestion! :)

Oh, hooray! I had thought that possibly selling the dresses directly on S&S would be perfect (once the inventory was large enough), and I can’t wait to see more of the ladies’ creations. They must be awfully excited to see their business booming right off the bat.

    Keep up the good work!

I bought the blue/white dress for my teenaged daughter as an early birthday gift. She accessorized with a belt and ballet flats and adores it! Favorite dress ever! Now she can’t wait for other retro patterns to be released (I can’t either)! Thanks to the ladies for their great work!!!
