Freebie Friday: What would you like to see?
By Jennie Chancey
My son has scanned a bunch of beautiful vintage magazines, pattern covers, and more. We’ll be putting one up this Friday for free before it turns into a Dollar Download. Leave a comment here and let us know what you’d like to see as this Friday’s freebie. Something late Victorian? Edwardian? 1940s? Thanks!

May 25, 2010 at 6:50 pm (1095 days ago)Looks like everyone likes the 40s
I love all eras, but especially the 40s since it’s easier to recreate things for modern wear from that era!

May 28, 2010 at 11:24 am (1092 days ago)Everyone seems to be saying 40s, and that would be good. I’d like to see something from the 20s and 30s–the period between the two World Wars. That was an interesting period in design. Thank you! We appreciate this!

June 8, 2010 at 7:36 pm (1081 days ago)I would say Edwardian, or maybe Victorian (my eldest daughter seems interested in the Victorian era), but it looks like the vote is for the 1940s.

June 24, 2010 at 8:51 am (1065 days ago)Ooh, something from 1909 to add to the Beatrix collection, perhaps a pattern for a belt or an accessory?
Or something 1930s…that’s an era that is a pleasure to wear but for which there are few patterns.
Thank you for polling us!
